Introductions

My name is Sadie and my husband's name is Patrick. We're expecting our first child, William, on September 1, 2013.

I am currently a stay-at-home wife although I am a licensed cosmetologist. Patrick is a musician with two jobs and one recurring gig.

We were married on March 30, 2013. We found out we were expecting our little one a little over three months before our wedding was set to happen (we'd been engaged since March of the previous year). We had been dating since February of 2011.

We have two pets; a female dog named Lupe, who we believe is a cairn terrier mix but is definitely some kind of terrier, and a male bobtail cat named Abel. I also still claim my mother's cats as my own, a big old' ginger fluffball named Dumbledore who we found outside our house one day and a little gray tabby named Roo who is the daughter of my beloved cat Locke. We had many more, who I'll likely mention at some point, but they've all passed on now. I also feed the wild cats that live in the wooded area beside my apartment complex.

This blog is a way for me to keep a journal, as using a paper journal never seems to work out very long for me. It will be a way for me to record Liam's childhood and the growth of our family through the years and hopefully we'll be able to look back on it and share it with him someday.
